1. Data controller

2. Data we collect (Art. 13)

Account data: Username, email address, hashed password.
Round & answer data: Questions you create, your text answers, timestamps. Answers are converted to AI embedding vectors for scoring. Deleted when a round expires.
Friend Score data: Calculated scores between participants, retained as long as the round data exists.
Technical data: IP address (security), device type, browser type.

3. Purpose & legal basis (Art. 6)

Contract performance: Providing the round creation, answering, and scoring service.
Legitimate interests: Security, fraud prevention, service improvement.

4. AI processing

Your text answers are processed by a multilingual AI embedding model (OpenAI API) to generate semantic vectors used solely for Friend Score calculation. No answer text is used to train external AI models. Embeddings are deleted when the associated round expires.

5. Your rights (Art. 15–22)

Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Rectification: Correct inaccurate data.
Erasure: Request deletion of your data.
Portability: Receive your data in machine-readable format.

6. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Germany: Bundesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (BfDI).
